As coordinator of a university vocal program, I love having Ingrid on staff as an accompanist. Not only are her musical skills outstanding, but perhaps even more important for student singers, her personal qualities are exceptional. Ingrid is alight with the joy of making music and of participating in the educational moment; she is always encouraging, supportive, and easygoing with students and teachers. Both my vocal colleagues and the full-time faculty in the music program have remarked on the many benefits Ingrid brings to our program.
As a singer, I have thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with Ingrid. Her ability to bring complex music to life with both accuracy and finesse, and her dedication to understanding the ideas of composer and poet make her a rare jewel among accompanists. I appreciate her musicianship and her flexibility as a collaborative pianist; she listens well and responds musically in the moment. Both our music-making and our conversation about music are enriching and deeply satisfying. I commend Ingrid to anyone in search of an excellent and thoughtful musician.

We had Ingrid and her husband David provide the music for our August 2006 wedding. With so many wedding details to consider, they were a reassuring help to guide us in our music. Ingrid provided us with the most beautiful CD of her playing various piano selections for us to consider for the church music. We also had some of our own ideas about specific music and they were able to accommodate those requests with sincere enthusiasm. We finalized all music selections in just one meeting which was a pleasant time saver.
Our wedding day was all that we hoped that it would be and more. We have such warm memories of that day. David and Ingrid were on time and well prepared. David's voice was clear and beautiful. Ingrid's music was elegant and joyful.
On a personal note, although Ingrid and David always conducted themselves in a professional manner, they also sincerely cared about us and our wedding. This was not just "another wedding" for them. They did everything that they could to ensure that the wedding music was perfect. And, it was. We highly recommend them.

Ingrid was my piano teacher for fifteen years. Under her instruction, Ingrid held me to a high standard of practicing and performing that was crucial to my development as a young pianist. She was always patient (especially when she was teaching me how to count) and used very entertaining and creative word imagery to explain musical concepts. Her attention to the details of a piece taught me to be meticulous when learning my music. This was especially helpful when it came time to prepare pieces for Guild. Lessons with Ingrid were fun, focused, and always ended with a sticker.
It was her experience and guidance that helped me through the process of finding and auditioning for music programs at universities. She was ready when I decided to take the plunge into a life of music, and she tried in every way to prepare and support me as I went on with my piano studies at the university level.
If it were not for Ingrid with her exuberance for teaching and mentoring influence in my life, I would not be where I am today in music. I admire Ingrid for the tools she gave me to succeed both as a piano student and as a person: rhythm, musicality, professionalism, and discipline. Ingrid thoughtfully wove these concepts into each lesson, and I am the musician I am because of them.

I have had the pleasure of working with Ingrid as an accompanist in many different ways for many years. She is a fine pianist with excellent accompanying ability. She has a thorough knowledge of styles, both historic and popular.
Ingrid can integrate her playing with a soloist or an ensemble equally well.
She is capable of performing technically demanding repertoire and has an acute sense of ensemble. Ingrid is excellent at preparation, as well as dependability and musicianship. She is also adept at continuo playing on

I am so pleased with what Ingrid did to make our party such a huge
